Nima Bavardi

Nima Bavardi was born in Tabriz, Iran, and showed an early interest in art, beginning his painting journey at a very young age. His initial exhibition of caricatures and paintings occurred when he was just 5 years old. Bavardi holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the Central Tehran branch of IA University. In 2015, he successfully completed his master’s degree in industrial design. His passion lies in designing products for everyday use, and he has received numerous international design awards throughout his professional career. Bavardi, who is also a university lecturer, has been a jury member of prestigious awards such as the A’Design Award in Italy since 2018, INDUSTART Awards in Ukraine, The SIT & LIT Awards in Switzerland, Edison Awards in the USA, Inspireli Awards in the Czech Republic, Taiwan International Student Design Competition in Taiwan, KIOSKedia Awards in Iran, and The Stevies IBA in the USA. Furthermore, he serves as an advisor to ADP for Western Asia and is a full member of IAD, IBSP, ICCI, IDC AIBA, and TCA. In recognition of his talent, Bavardi was recently selected as one of the world’s top 40 young lighting designers under forty at the “40under40” 2023. As the co-founder of the KIOSKedia International Design Awards, he plays a pivotal role in advancing design innovation and achieving industry recognition. He has worked and collaborated with international brands across various design disciplines.
