A Milestone Year for RSP Dubai as It Celebrates 15 Years of Innovation
According to a news article in Panels and Furniture Asia, RSP, the renowned architectural and engineering design group headquartered in Singapore, has launched its new Global Design Studio in Dubai, reinforcing its presence in the Middle East. The studio, strategically located in the Mashreq Bank Headquarters within the Downtown Burj Khalifa District, underscores RSP’s commitment to creating people-centered, innovative, and sustainable designs for regional clients.
The official opening on 28 November 2024 was graced by Singapore’s Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Kamal R Vaswani, and Consul-General Mr. Raziff Aljunied. The milestone coincides with RSP Dubai’s 15th anniversary, highlighting the firm’s legacy of delivering iconic and impactful designs in the region.
Michael Magill, Managing Director of RSP Dubai and the firm’s Global Creative Head, expressed enthusiasm for this expansion:”The Middle East is a strategic growth area with increasing demand for energy-efficient, sustainable designs—a core strength of RSP. The Global Design Studio will allow us to leverage international expertise while fostering innovation in Dubai.”
The studio embodies RSP’s ethos of collaboration and sustainability. The open-plan layout promotes teamwork, while eco-conscious materials, including carbon-neutral carpets and Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze products, reflect the firm’s commitment to green practices.
RSP Dubai has made significant contributions to the UAE’s architectural landscape with landmark projects such as St. Regis Palm Tower, Nobu Hotel & Branded Residences, and the Khalifa University campus expansion.
